Who made the first Cupcake as we know it today? Were there others before this style? Read on to find out. While in the USA the first person to make Cupcakes and print out a recipe for them was Amelia Simmons, her book, “American Cookery” had it made in a small cup in 1796. Then another book came out in 1828 for cupcakes along with other favorites. Prior to this in Iran were made cakes called, Cake Yazdi. They are about 500 years old. It is made with wheat flour, cardamon, rose water and yogurt. Topped with pistachios and rose petals. These are still made today. Now today's Cupcakes are fantastically popular with fillings or made into shapes with many Cupcakes in the design.

The Ice Cream Cone came on the scene at the World’s Fair in 1904 in St. Louis. After that everything Ice Cream went crazy with flavors. People’s most favorite flavors are Vanilla Chocolate and Strawberry.
